CUTTING ROOM


Litera Meat’s facilities are notable due to their innovative technology, which results in optimal automation and efficiency throughout the production process.

Litera Meat’s cutting room houses 22 production lines, plus one that is fully automated and designed for heads, and 12 vacuum packaging machines. The cutting room meets the conditions necessary to guarantee all sanitary and technological requirements for exports to the national and international markets. Thanks to ground-breaking mechanisms Litera Meat is one of the safest, most efficient and most productive plants in the world.

At the end of each working day the entire facility is cleaned and disinfected to ensure food hygiene and safety.

Litera Meat also has a room that is especially equipped and prepared to package fresh meat in the form of slices and fillets. The plant’s cold storage facilities can accommodate 1,500 tons.

Bearing in mind each client’s conditions and requirements, Litera Meat has the resources necessary to produce a full catalogue of packaged products, such as hamburgers, sausages and meatballs.

La sala de despiece de Litera Meat alberga 22 líneas operativas, más una completamente automatizada destinada a cabezas y 12 máquinas para envasado al vacío. La sala de despiece cuenta con las condiciones necesarias que garantizan todos los requisitos sanitarios y tecnológicos tanto para la exportación en el mercado nacional como internacional.

SALA DE ENVASADO


Paralelamente, Litera Meat cuenta con una sala especialmente equipada y preparada para el envasado de carne fresca en formato loncheado y fileteado. Como dato relevante, la capacidad de almacenamiento en fresco asciende a 1.500 toneladas.

With an eye on the international scene, Litera Meat focuses its gaze on Japan with a specially planned and equipped room that meets all requirements established in this Asian country.

This room, which is known as the GSP room, has a series of unique characteristics and features. It has a quality office where the manager verifies the whole process and monitors specifications and the different batches. It also has an exclusive space for storing spices, which are used depending on each chopped production. The quality officer revises the wrapping using a magnet to check there are no metal objects inside.

COLD STORAGE


The plant has 22 tunnel freezers that can reach -35ºC and which allow for a swift, controlled freezing process involving the latest methods in refrigeration technology.

Our tunnel freezers and cold storage chambers are equipped with compact shelves that offer a cold storage volume of up to 8,500 tons.
