• SIAL is Asia’s largest and most dynamic exhibition within the agri-food industry
• Spain is being consolidated as the first exporter of pork meat to China, where Litera Meat has its own commercial branch
This week, Litera Meat is taking part in the latest edition of SIAL China, held 28th – 30th September and considered as one of the world’s most relevant food innovation exhibition, attracting agri-food professionals from five continents. The event is held at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre in Shanghai and is an opportunity for businesses to share strategic information, as well as to showcase the main trends and innovations within the industry.
Litera Meat has significantly targeted exports at the Asian continent, consolidating its presence in one of the world’s most relevant meat markets. At the end of April, Litera Meat obtained the license to export to China and, in the last few weeks, this country has accounted for about 80% of the company’s sales volume and turnover. Litera Meat has its own commercial branch in the Asian country, which has made it possible to better project the brand and build loyalty among potential customers. Spanish pork meat is renowned and fully appreciated and, as the first country to export pork meat products to China, Spain is being consolidated as an agri-food power in 2020.
SIAL China, which has been postponed for a few months to ensure compliance with all the preventive measures against COVID-19, has successfully gathered the world’s main meat enterprises.
